On October 25, 2018, under the guidance of Communications Administration of Fujian Province, Information Center of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and Internet Association of Fujian Province held "5G and Industrial Development Summit Forum and Top 20 Internet Enterprises in Fujian Province 2018" in Fuzhou, Fujian Province. At the conference, the list of Top 20 Internet Enterprises in Fujian Province in 2018 and the Development Report of Top 20 Internet Enterprises in Fujian Province in 2018 (hereinafter referred to as the Development Report) were jointly released. 20 enterprises, including Meitu, 4399 and Yi Gongcheng, were listed successively.

It is reported that Fujian Province is the first province to carry out the evaluation of the Top 20 Internet enterprises, and this year is the second year of the evaluation of the Top 20 Internet enterprises in Fujian Province. The data basis of this evaluation is based on the data of each enterprise in 2017, and the comprehensive analysis method is adopted to comprehensively consider the eight core indicators representing the six dimensions of enterprise scale, profit, innovation, growth, influence and social responsibility.

It was pointed out at the meeting that in 2018, the top 20 Internet enterprises in Fujian Province adhered to innovation-driven development and integrated development with the real economy. The economic scale continued to expand and new business forms and models kept emerging, which promoted the transformation of economic development driving force and led the high-quality economic development of Fujian Province

Five Features:

■ The overall scale of the top 20 enterprises increased significantly, with business revenue exceeding 20 billion yuan.

■ The profitability of the top 20 enterprises increased significantly, 1.8 percentage points higher than that of the whole country.

■ Games and entertainment and e-commerce will lead the development, and consumer Internet will improve the quality of life.

■ Top 20 enterprises gathered in Fuzhou and Xiamen, and local Internet development gradually took shape.

■ R&D investment exceeded 2 billion yuan, and enterprise innovation drove industrial innovation.
